feral trade eggs
Bantam eggs, small but sweet from the Dagenham back yard of Pip Field. The 4 hens are free range although kept in overnight against foxes. Foxes got their predecessors, the first round on christmas day, the subsequent lot on easter sunday, reckoning that foxes only threaten when all the takeaway shops are shut, Pip now keeps all hens indoors on bank holidays and in 2 years has not lost a single bird. Fed on corn, grits and bits of bread & cake as afternoon treats. ferally traded since: 13/04/15.

FERALTRADE products passed by hand. The word 'feral' describes a process that is deliberately wild, as in pigeon, as opposed to nature wild (wolf). Feral Trade freight operates largely outside commercial channels, using the surplus potential of social, cultural and data networks for the distribution of goods. contact kate@feraltrade.org
